Yield: 8-16 adorable brownie footballs 🏈

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Otto’s Naturals Brownie Mix (Classic or Paleo)
  • ½ cup avocado oil
  • 2 eggs* (see below for substitution)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Favorite chocolate frosting (or use one of ours!)
  • Favorite vanilla frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease silicone football molds with coconut oil.
  2. Prepare batter according to package directions. Divide batter among molds.
    • You can make these thick or thin. We prefer about 2 Tbsp of batter for each football (makes 16) but you can make these double thick (like the frosted photos) if you prefer (makes 8).
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
  4. Allow brownies to cool completely before loosening the perimeter with a butter knife and carefully removing from the molds.
  5. Decorate! You can skip the chocolate frosting (if you want them less sweet) and just do the white part of the design if you'd like.

Baker's Hack: If you don't have a piping bag, just put the frosting in a ziplock bag, snip the corner off and squeeze. Easy!

Why Are Gluten-Free Brownies a Healthy Choice?

Gluten-free brownies provide many benefits for your body. Aside from helping people who have allergies and other dietary restrictions, they help in lowering blood sugar levels, managing weight, and reducing the risk of having chronic diseases due to their anti-inflammatory qualities.

So if you're looking for healthier dessert options or have dietary sensitivities, a gluten-free brownie is a great and thoughtful way to enjoy a classic treat!

Additionally, gluten-free brownies can be made with high-fiber and high-protein ingredients such as oats or almond flour.

What is Cassava Flour?

Cassava flour is one of the best substitutes for regular flour. It is healthy, bakes like all-purpose, and doesn’t leave a strong taste - making it great to use for brownies! It is low in calories, fat, and sugar.

If you want healthy and gluten-free alternatives for your flour, use Otto's Cassava Flour. Our product is a grain-free, gluten-free, allergen-free, paleo, and no-junk flour. It is easy to use and doesn’t have an aftertaste which makes food the way it should be.
