Ready for a fall twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie? With a touch of apple butter and a hint of apple pie spice, these chocolate chip cookies are elevated into autumnally-spiced goodness. This recipe may sound a bit complicated, but we've made it easy thanks to our Grain-Free Ultimate Cookie Mix. Mix, scoop, and bake! Voila, you have yourself a simple and fun fall treat. Serve with a glass of warm milk on a chilly day. And since there's a bit of fruit in these chocolatey delights, we can say this dessert is healthy, right? ;)

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, cookie mix, egg, and vanilla. Stir until combined. 
  3. Add the apple pie spice and the apple butter. Stir until smooth, then fold in the chocolate chunks.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls of the batter and place them on the baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Swirl a little additional apple butter into the tops of each batter mound. 
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes. As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, use a spatula to shape them into circles (if necessary) and press additional chocolate chunks into the cookies. Sprinkle the cookies with flaky sea salt. 
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
