Ingredients
- 1 bag Otto’s Naturals Grain-Free Ultimate Cookie Mix
- 1 egg
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon apple pie spice
- ¼ cup apple butter + extra for topping the cookies
- 1 cup chocolate chunks + extra for topping
-
Flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, cookie mix, egg, and vanilla. Stir until combined.Â
- Add the apple pie spice and the apple butter. Stir until smooth, then fold in the chocolate chunks.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the batter and place them on the baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Swirl a little additional apple butter into the tops of each batter mound.Â
- Bake for 12-14 minutes. As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, use a spatula to shape them into circles (if necessary) and press additional chocolate chunks into the cookies. Sprinkle the cookies with flaky sea salt.Â
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
